[A]ll different body types can be healthy and beautiful. That you can be more if you want to. That less isn’t the only acceptable option. That if the endless pursuit of fat loss isn’t making you happy, isn’t improving the quality of your life, isn’t working…you can choose another approach. Choosing another approach isn’t failure. It is simply different, and there is a place in this world for different. We are not all shaped the same.
This is a wonderful read whether you have been struggling or successful. If you’re just starting out, in the middle of your journey or trying to start again. I highly recommend donating a few minutes of your time to read this very awesome article.
Not to mention: holy damn does she look amazing.
“All natural, plant-based food free of soy, refined sugar and processed foods”
Great recipes available here. I made the kale and quinoa casserole tonight and it was fantastic. Made a few tweeks here and there (as I always do) but this is a good resource for those looking to un-process their meals.
In case you were wondering what I did to murder myself. It’s been a while since I used traditional weights in a workout. Usually I use my Ugi ball, dip station and/or sandbag.
I used two 10lb weights and completed the full workout in 17:17. A minute and five seconds less than Zuzka… and with more weight. I’m feeling pretty badass! :D
20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest? What the heck is that supposed to do?
Does that sound like you? Do you call shenanigans as soon as you hear the word Tabata? Take a read and learn something that might change the way you exercise.
(I’m posting this right now because my workout for today is a Tabata and I’m cringing at the thought of it. Why do I do these things to myself? Ugh!)
This article. This one. Go read it. Right now.
This whole things. OMG all of it.
No bias, just straight up info and a lot to be said for “What works for one may not work for you” and with an explanation of WHY. (We all love that word. We’ve been asking why since we popped out of the womb.)
Quite handy for those just learning the names of moves. There are a ton and it’s hard to remember what they are all called. Browse at your leisure. :D
Go on and find out! It might surprise you!
(I, for instance, had no idea how LITTLE caffeine espresso had! Oh my…)

Note: also lists overdose symptoms.
You can cheat on so many things in life and may never get caught.
You can cheat on your taxes, you can cheat on a test, you can cheat on your partner. Maybe someone will find out, maybe not.
There is one thing you can cheat on and soon, we will all know:
Check out this link for some simple answers.
This could be helpful for those who are wondering what their intake should be based on their age, weight and activity level. I see a lot of people asking about it, so here you go! I like this one because no matter what, it will NOT display a number under 1200 for women or 1800 for men. Huzzah!
This is a free dance mix radio station. You cannot make your own station like on Pandora, but it’s great for having the beats you’re looking for when you workout and run. It also may expose you to some new songs/artists you can then plug into your Pandora to expand your station. All the winning.
Did I mention it’s free? Because I like free.
The “schedule” is listed here.
But, I’m sure you already all knew this. ;)
