Is that not the most beautiful, spongy, moist looking bread you’ve ever seen?
I’ve never made challah bread before (as neither myself nor anyone in my family is remotely Jewish) and my family is very Portuguese so our sweet bread of choice has always been massa. The challah bread came out AMAZING! I baked it with some sesame seeds on top and it was a good idea. I’m rather certain throwing in some sunflower seeds would have been brilliant as well.
To those of you who fear baking bread, I assure you, it is not scary. It takes a little patience, but it’s totally worth it. No home could possibly smell so good as a home that bakes bread! :D
I have a zillion recipes for bread (because bread is one of my favorite things!) so come knocking on my tumblr door if you want some help. :D
Also, I need to get the beer bread recipe from my friend Cat (who runs an amazing photo tumblr … I can surf her page forever…) so maybe I can do that one next. Though, I have a very tempting stollen bread I just might have to make a priority. :D

I’m obviously not a bread guy now, but I used to be a baker and that is a great looking bread, if I do say so myself.
