Modern Farmer | Whey Too Much: Greek Yogurt’s Dark... →
For those who care about the earth as much as they do their body, you might be interested to know the damage the yogurt craze has caused. (Even though I don’t eat yogurt, I’m sure I’m guilty in some other way. I bet soy milk isn’t the purest process either.)

Participants Wanted: Asexual Terminology Survey →
tchy: avenpt: My name is Andrew Hinderliter, and I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign.  My dissertation is about online asexual discourse, with particular interest in its development over time.  I ran one survey last January, and I am now conducting a survey on asexuality-related concepts and terminology. To participate, you...

Spring Cleaning
Going through and unfollowing a ton of blogs. Maybe because I’m no longer interested in having the content on my dash, because I find it triggering, because it bores me or because it pisses me off. Or because of some reason I fail to name because it’s nameless. If I unfollow you, don’t take it personally. Or do. That’s fine too. I don’t hate you or anything....

Go Kaleo: I Am Overweight →
[A]ll different body types can be healthy and beautiful. That you can be more if you want to. That less isn’t the only acceptable option. That if the endless pursuit of fat loss isn’t making you happy, isn’t improving the quality of your life, isn’t working…you can choose another approach. Choosing another approach isn’t failure. It is simply different, and there is a place in this world for...

On the cover of Vogue … next to plates of spaghetti. An interesting read for those who might be interested in the madness.

fit4forty replied to your post: Peroneal tendonitis :( I had that for awhile, had to crawl to the bathroom in the night, couldn’t even stand. Rest it up and it does go away. I keep a roller/or can beside my bed, for if I feel any tightness or pain I just roll the tendon on that and it goes away fast. Great idea. Maybe I’ll pick up one of those little rollers that goes under the desk. ...

Peroneal tendonitis
Fantastic.  This means no running for at least 6 weeks. The next 6 weeks. The best 6 weeks of the year for running. When everything is blooming and beautiful. To be honest, I’m in so much pain I can’t even walk. I have to use my tiptoe on my right foot to get around. Looks like my bicycle will be getting a lot of use this season. My quads are going to be killer.

Why Do Men Keep Putting Me in the Girlfriend-Zone?
literaryreference: You know how it is, right, ladies? You know a guy for a while. You hang out with him. You do fun things with him—play video games, watch movies, go hiking, go to concerts. You invite him to your parties. You listen to his problems. You do all this because you think he wants to be your friend. But then, then comes the fateful moment where you find out that all this time, he’s...

Sitting under a tent in my ridiculous hat on a beautiful day and waiting to take a picture with a fake diploma. Can I start partying yet???

Something about running allows my mind to keep...
I haven’t really run since January. I’ve run a few times here and there, but never with my heart in it. More like the “because I’m supposed to” attitude that had overwhelmed just about every decision in my life (welcome to “battling” depression where by battling I actually mean pretending to be normal by doing the things I’m supposed/expected to...
